CBS-Contract signed with M/s. Infosys- MESSAGE FROM DIRECTOR(
CBS) I am
excited to share the news that the Department has signed the contract today
with M/s Infosys Ltd for deploying CBS and ATMs in Post Offices.
Infosys , as System
Integrator will deploy the CBS ( Finacle) and Insurance softwares. They have
tied up with M/s NCR for installing ATMs and with Yelamanchilli (YCS) for the
ATM switch and M/s IBM for central hardware. Data migration from legacy accounts
is also part of their scope of work. The period of contract is 7 years which
includes the Operations and Maintenance activities for this period. Infosys
will also station one Project Manager in each of the circles to deliver the
project in time. They will also run a helpdesk to resolve issues of our staff
from post offices. The project will cover around 25,000 departmental offices in
a period of 24 months. The CBS Rural ICT application will also be rolled out in
1.3 lakh branch offices. The identified 120 pilot offices will start CBS in 6
months and Pilot roll out will be completed in 9 months from T. T will be fixed
shortly.

Karnataka) who worked in the middle
